What is Gate Valve

When the gate is lifted or moved to the upper position, the valve is fully open, allowing fluid to pass through. Conversely, lowering the gate completely blocks the flow, closing the valve tightly.
Operation: Gate valves are operated by turning the handle or actuator in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. This motion raises or lowers the gate to open or close the valve. Gate valves usually have a multi-turn operation, requiring several rotations to fully open or close the valve
Types of Gate Valve
